I guess it’s that bad, I didn’t realise that. Our school year is just about to get started here in B.C. this week.

Don’t feel bad about taking the Metro. I took my dirty Fiat to view the Roma!

By the way, have they sold off all of the old Metro cars? I remember seeing on the news they were auctioning them off (last year?). I never rode them much as I stuck to the West Island for school and work. Anytime I had to go into the city, I drove (on the lovely Metropolitan, ha ha!).

They’ve been short of teachers and of course substitute teachers too for years. 3 year ago, to encourage the regular teachers NOT to take their sick days (6), they give you money for each sick day you haven’t used at the end of the year. So, last july I received an extra pay check of 6 days. If I were to take even just half a day to go to this event, that would turn out to be a very expensive cocktail party for me.

Somebody suggested I take the subway. Didn’t think of that. It’s always COOL to go there with your Ferrari. I think the subway is a good option. I’ll be there around 5h15 p.m.

I’ll send some pictures to the list.

I suppose it would be too difficult to take the afternoon off from work?

With the kind of year it has been, with my 5 weeks of holidays and not be able to go anywhere because of this COVID, I didn’t give it any thought to skip work for one day and take a “staycation” to the dealership...

I’ve been invited to a special cocktail party by Ferrari Quebec here in Montreal for the presentation of the new F8 SPIDER next wednesday (see below). GREAT, FANTASTIC.

But why would you do such a thing between  4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. ?

Do they think that all Ferrari owners don’t need to work anymore ? Personally, as a teacher I finish at 16h05. I would need to tidy my classroom, then I would go home (5 minutes), get my Ferrari (another 10 minutes in preparation- it’s always covered), get on the highway in full rush-hour and maybe make it before 6:00 p.m. In no traffic, it's about 25 minutes from my home.

I’ve been to a couple of those before, but they were after 6:00 p.m.

I still haven’t decided!
