If you just have $40k to go fast, look at a Bentley Continental GT, post 2005.  You should be able to break the 200 mph mark.  You’ll be able to have a choice of colors at that price point.  

Still expensive to service, but cheaper than a Ferrari.  So reliable that the dealerships actually complained about the lack of service fees compared to the Arnage...

Exactly.  For higher priced 456s I have seen cars with major interior flaws and issues with the active suspension.  This seems way better at a crazy price point.  If is clears a good PPI, that is a great deal.  Not sure I like black, however.
