Nice to see the list back again. Sorry jumping in a little late here and
missed several of the earlier posts, AND, I don't have a Ferrari hee hee,
but I think you're talking about CIS system here which was very similar to
that used on some early porsches.

It's good to check the fuel pressure both hot and cold to know just what's
going on as some of the parts in the CIS system are pricey to replace. If
after driving the car and it's hot, do you find if it sits for a little
while, you have to crank it several times before it will start again? If it
hasent' already been mentioned, I think all CIS systems have a "check valve"
in the fuel pump. Reason for this, CIS runs at very high pressure, and the
chech valve helps maintain line pressure, so the gas doesnt bleed back into
the tank. With the porsches anyway (bosch) some had the check valve as part
of the pump while other had it seperate and outside the tank I believe. Do
you notice it more now that we are in the summer months than when it was
cooler in the Spring?

As I said, maybe it's already been mentioned, or you have ruled it out, but
maybe worth a check.

Good luck,
Ed

I checked Maranallo auto parts and they want $209.00 for a cold start valve. Where can you get it for $14.00. Also, does anyone have the Bosch part number for the new fuel injectors? Thanks. Jim
