Don't feel lonely.  I got some wood splinters scratching my head on that one, 
too.  

Eventually it hit me as my first take was that he failed to make the cut ... 
i.e. was finished for the session and wondered why he sat there.
Perhaps "congratulations mate, you made it" would have been a better choice of 
words.

Inconsequential as I said, but perhaps the highlight of a boorish quali.   Oh 
hum.  Front row again.
