Steve, my crusty old mind tells me that I joined the list in 1996 but I may be a little off. You might know or have it in your records. It would be fun to know. I bought my '79 308GTB in January of 1997 and attended my first F1 race later that year in Melbourne (where I was teaching a class). Peter Henrys arranged for the tickets for me - and as I met Peter via the List, I had to have joined before then. At that time, I believe we used the list [at] softhome.net address, or something similar. After that you bought the ferrarilist domain and it was list [at] ferrarilist.com, I believe. I never used the NMT address. The rest is modern history. rick Steve Cook <SCook [at] sbs.com> wrote: > Howdy! > > I don't remember if I ever told the story of starting the F-List... > > The idea started in mid 1995... > > It grew from there, and peaked with over 1000 members ... so I found > a host that was "cheap" and moved it to softhome.net.
