Steve, I think that the Smart Car in the video sucks.....and so do Porsches. But, I could be completly wrong....but wouldn't admit it. vty, Michael -----Original Message----- From: steve [at] stevejenkins.com To: ferrarifixer [at] aol.com Cc: ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com Sent: Thu, 28 Sep 2006 9:46 AM Subject: Re: [Ferrari] why to fill the Ferrari at 7-11 Brian: I also don't like tomato juice. I think it sucks. You can show me all the statistics of how healthy it is for me, how many anti-oxidants are contained in it, and talk about all the benefits I'm missing out on by not drinking it. Does everything think tomato juice sucks? Nope - but I do! And I'm allowed to think it sucks as a matter of personal preference, regardless of any statistics or the opinions of anyone else. I can't imagine anyone arguing with me about how I have no right to dislike it. And fwiw, I didn't Pbugs' performance sucked. Some have great performance. Some Subarus and Mitsubishis do, too. Heck this Smart Car has great performance: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5292341112610385808 My issue with Porsches has nothing to do with their performance, or their racing pedigree - and they certainly have both. They just don't do it for me. They lack soul. Steve -----Original Message----- From: Brian E. Porsche has as or more of a history of winning *major* races as Ferrari, and many models are well known for their handling, braking and speed. Not to mention their dead reliability. While a Boxster may not be very impressive to own in Seattle, I wouldn't imagine you would be embarrassed seen driving an 89 Porsche Speedster, a 94 3.6 turbo or any of the turbos since (1997, 2005 or 997 AWD twin-turbo). And I would bet that a Carrera GT would give anything that anyone on this list owns a *very* good run for the money in every performance category. Brian Steve Jenkins wrote: >Take it from me.
