Hi John,
Well, now that I finally have a steady job (one hopes) I'm in no hurry,
so I have time to consider what I want. I figure I'll save up for a while so I
have a good portion of the down ready, and then maybe next summer start looking
around. So far candidates are MR2 Spyder, Miata, S2000, E36 M3/2, SVT Cobra,
(need Lashdeep's advice on the suspension/Panhard, etc.), maybe a 3 series
Bimmer but in Sport version. And maybe some other stuff. Same parameters as
always, generally. Prefer RWD or AWD, normally aspirated, also prefer a
"newer" car so I don't have to worry too much about maintenance/age problems
like I had with the '73 2002tii that I had before. As you know (or will know)
I don't have much mechanical aptitude/room/tools/patience (not respectively).
Best,
Tom

Hi to all! Used to have a '78 308gt4 that I purchased in '98 from (World
Series
Content) Dave McKay, (even then) the 1st base coach for the St. Louis
Cardinals.
Had the car for 4 years, and am now thinking of what fun car to get next.
Daughter just traded in her fun car ('02 Ford SVT Focus) for a '05 Ford
Freestyle. Her car is so big it won't fit in the garage, so now my car is in
there, her car can hold everyone, so I don't need to drive the family hauler
any
more, I can sell the Merc and get a fun car again. So, anyway, just wanted to
say "hi" and see who's on the list nowadays. And of course wishing good luck
to
Ferrari in the GP of Brazil.
