Well Geez, Louise!
If that counts I have a whole fleet of Ferrari's! Some real classics too! 333SP, 250GT, several 550's, a 360, F40, F50, 54 F1 racer, and on and on. ;-) I'll have to lose a *lot* of weight and do some amazing downsize engineering to power my little F cars - but anythings possible right?

I guess I'm a true Tifosi!

Some of you should remember me from the "golden era" of the F-List
(circa '96-02) when the most interesting of conversations were had, hehe.

Hello Fellippe!

Remember you? Of course. "Golden era"? LOL. You captured it
perfectly! You were the passionate young kid who just typified the phrase
"tifosi youth". :-P I am pleased to hear from you again. I am still on
the List but don't have enough gall, adrenalin or testostorone to post
regularly, therefore, I lurk.

As to the design thread; I completely agree. We are 'wind tunnel
designed' to death. I believe that style will come back just as
horsepower has come back. Sadly, it may be the Japanese designers who
realize and implement this first, but we will get there. The automobile
is just too important an icon in people's lives for us to drive 'Chiclets'
for too long.

 ...back to lurking.

 Hey guys, what up?

Some of you should remember me from the "golden era" of the F-List (circa
'96-02) when the most interesting of conversations were had, hehe. It's
interesting to see my knowledge and personal growth since then, especially
with regards to tastes in cars and priorities in life. I used to want a
308
as my first F-car, and don't anymore....as of 2-3 years ago. If it had to
be
a V8, I'd wager a 348 (a car I detested in the late '90s), and for a 12 ,
a
512 TR....although those choices could be swayed because I got to drive
both
of them, hehe. (Thanks to Deep & Larry)

Lately trying to get back into the passion of exotics. I'm subscribed to
Fchat, L-Power, etc....cool sites but never quite as personal as this list
was. Also, trolls are almost irrelevant on lists, but I still fondly
remember a dude named "Ty Kirkpatrick"......lol. Was it ever figured out
who
that was?! :-)

Anyways, don't know what the recent topics of discussion have been here,
but
I'll throw one out for good measure:

When will the Ferrari of old, come back? (styling wise)

I was swayed a lot to the dark side in recent years because of this. Their
cars are very legitimate for the most part, and while there's nothing
entirely innovative with the infinite Countach shape, it is still very
sexy. However there really is something special about the horse that keeps
it in the running at all times. Perhaps it's the nicer interiors and the
racier sound...

L is running into similar problems as us, but on the styling end the drop
off isn't much if at all (Murci spyder with a Jalpa motor would still be
sexy!). I find that a Gallardo is sexier than a F430, but I found the
latter
more entertaining to drive, even if both were equipped with the boring
automatic. The Ford GT with a racing exhaust was more exciting on the open
road than both....a testament to a real manual transmission and a more
aggressive exhaust!

Jim's one off P4/5 seems to be heading in the right direction....if only
the
theme can be carried on, we could have a winner!

One day hopefully I'll have the sexy 288 GTO. In the meantime, I'm
settling
for it's Australian 6.0 liter cousin, hehe. Fun :)

Looking forward to BSing with you all...

Fellippe
