An epithet?  Bwahaahahah!!!

Grow a sense of humor.  I called you a communist, true.  I used the very
amusing quote from Jenkins, Viva la Cuba Libre.  Is there ANYONE, and I mean
ANYONE, on this list that takes offense at the off-hand use of the
descriptor, "communist"?  Is there ANYONE that actually concluded that Dr.
Steve was therefore a little-red-book carrying, che-guevara-t-shirt-wearing,
communist-manifesto-quoting, communist?  Anyone?

Yup, I called you a communist.  AND I spent many lines rebuting your
arguments, line by line, position by position.  I pointed out the errors in
your logic and your conclusion, AND I made my point that your conclusion
was, in fact, a socialist one.

And what did you do in return?

You wrapped yourself in the flag and from on high, called me out for daring
to call you a communist when I did not serve in the military and therefore,
WAS UNQUALIFIED to criticize such a noble personage as yourself.

Spewing epithets?  BWAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!

Yeah, *DENNIS* is the guy in this debate that is calling names to defend his
position "rather than utilizing facts and reasoned opinion."

Yeesh.

Just one final comment (from me at least) and then I'll leave it to you
carry this thread on for as long as you may care to do so.
 
I've found that when someone uses the term "chickenhawk" it is generally
self-evident which one, "chicken" or "hawk", he exemplifies.
 
You may distort the debate as it continues but if you remember correctly,
my response was predicated upon your reference to me as a "Communist" and
your use of the phrase "Viva la Cuba Libre".
 
It is difficult to debate with one who spews epithets in lieu of logic and
substance and as such it shall end on my part. Carry on as you will, and
call as many names as you may feel necessary to defend your position rather
than utilizing facts and reasoned opinion. I'm certain that many more are
won over to  your side by the use of such tactics rather than the employment
of reason.
