Somewhere in Europe, it appears within the last couple of years, from the cars involved. I wouldn't worry too much about the doors - they're probably lightweight fiberglass or CF panels. The real protection is in the roll cage. I think they worry less about flying debris than a solid side punch from another car or stationary object, though a wheel bouncing through the side opening would surely suck. vty, --Dennis _____ From: Britt2Asa [at] aol.com [mailto:Britt2Asa [at] aol.com] Sent: Friday, December 08, 2006 3:44 PM To: BigHeadDennis [at] earthlink.net Cc: ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Worst GT racing crash (wet) I've seen in awhile Wow! Amazing how many of the doors were just ripped off completely exposing the drivers to fly debris...Where did this take place and when? BR Luckily, no one appears to be seriously hurt. Especially that very lucky track worker. A heckuva video. Ferraris, Vipers, Saleens, Porsches, Listers, can't even identify some of the victims. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqxdj_wetrace Or here: http://www.flabber.nl/archief/018559.php Vty, --Dennis BR in the UK 1986 328GTS (LHD 89,940km) Died August 19, 2006 Shrewsbury UK 1980 400i (RHD 72,000 miles)
