   What a great way to spend some quality time in old sports cars!  We're
really poorer for the loss of inexpensive convertible sports cars.  In the
60s we had a huge selection - whenever we're out driving around I'm always
on the lookout for sports cars from that era

I see them occasionally around here, and what always strikes me is how Lilliputian they look on modern roads when corraled by the huge pickups, SUVs and crossovers that ooze through town. I'm quite sure that I could fit one of the little Triumphs I saw last week in the bed of my 06 Ram, and maybe even put the tailgate up. I would guess that there are lots more of them out there, but they tend to keep to themselves on rural roads for fear of being crushed like a soda can by a soccer mom with her mirrors misadjusted...
