Amen, brother!!

Same goes for cheapskates who buy leaky radar detectors where the V1 will pick up their internal oscillators. Drives me crazy to tuck in behind a slow car for miles waiting to encounter the trap, only to eventually figure out that said slow car is employing a POS off-brand detector which is spewing forth its own radiation in worse quantities than some police radar units...

Grrr.

Subject: [Ferrari] Why Infiniti FXs and GM SUVs sucketh

Man, my serious dislike for newish GM SUVs has turned into serious hatred,
but still relatively moderate compared to my desire to burn Infiniti FX SUVs
to the ground (and possibly Q45s and M35s too).

Why?

Because the frakkin' CHMSL on the GMs are LEDs, and all manage to set off
the laser detector. Grrr. Incredibly irritating, especially in dense
traffic, when you're stuck behind one. Braaaap. Braaaap. Braaaap.
Braaaap. Braaaap. Braaaap.

But that's a minor offense compared to the Infiniti.

At least the falsing from the GM SUVs are relatively localized - have to be
behind them, with them BRAKING, at relatively close range.

Whereas the FRAKKIN' LASER CRUISE CONTROL on the Infiniti FX (Q45s and/or
M35s too?) will set off the laser detector from a half mile away.

ARRGH. Typical scenario: casually cruising down the highway. Braaaap.
Brake, Defcon 5, adrenaline, horizon scan. Invariably, it's a frakkin' FX45
going the other way. Arrgh.

Man, if my car was equipped with a BGM-71 TOW missle...

Vty,

--Dennis
