Rui - If all your are doing is changing the injectors, no need to remove the plenum or intake at all. You may need to remove the throttle body housing however, to get the two middle injectors on the rear bank out. This means you may need a new gasket for the throttle body. If you are replacing ALL the coolant hoses, then you will need to remove the plenum only and will not need to separate the throttle body from the plenum if you do the injectors at the same time. You may wish to replace the plenum gaskets while you are there. One big word of caution ... there is a spacer on each stud under the plenum. Be very careful when you lift the plenum off to make sure that all the spacers are held or stay in place. If one of them should fall off, go down the intake, and a valve were to be open on that cylinder, this would make for a very bad day indeed. When you are doing the coolant hoses, there is a steel nipple on the intake that tends to rust, T. Rutlands sells a replacement in stainless. HTH, LMK if you have any further questions. Can it be done? Another thing I forgot is I'll be changing the thermo time switch too. Anyone done that before without removing the intake? I just want to make sure I'm having the right approach before I start !
