This thread reminded me of a conversation I had with another local Ferrari enthusiast. He mentioned reading an article about the Pagani Zonda and how an interview with one of the designers illustrated the changes made in safety. The designer mentioned a supercar that has "killed hundreds" since the 1970s. We were trying to figure out which one they were talking about and both agreed on the 930 a few minutes later. It's the only potentially dangerous car we could come up with that had both the sales figures and BHP to kill hundreds.
What is the consensus for the deadliest cars of all time? And, by deadly, I mean dentist killer, and not for the inexperienced.
1. AC Cobra 2. Porsche 930 3. Dodge Viper 4. ???

I think the 930 ranks up there with the Viper a close second....I believe the trailing throttle oversteer traits of the 930 combined with the sudden burst of torque was the combo that did it. The Viper is dangerous too, but it seems like it scares people off a lot sooner before they can hurt themselves.
However, as of recent years, everyone talks about the Carrera GT being the new 930. It's killed a few people on the track already that weren't exactly newbies, and Walter Rohrl admitted being a bit nervous driving it at the limit. Not sure under what circumstances, but we all know what he used to drive in the '80s...
You know, a guy I trust said that the Carrera GT had quicker reflexes than even an Exige S.......combined with the 600 hp....that's both scary and impressive.
Deep, I think you should respect the car and get one.
