The Gorey  'science' is from an assortment of academic papers assembled by 
professors, not scientific papers by actual working scientists), all 
cherry-picked at that to prove their cause.   Leaving out facts such as 
previous rises in CO2 levels have happened many times before and lags 400-500 
years from the cause, usually volcanic.   Perhaps the SUVs caused the last ice 
age as well.  And the warming which NASA reports is occurring on Mars, from 
Martian soccer moms no doubt.  And the doubling of radiation output from the 
sun must also be caused by those dang SUVs.   And forget the increasing of ice 
thickness in the Antarctic and the current warming trend which started well 
before automobiles came along which has always a precursor to the next ice age.

Or if you are really serious, mr actor, toss the coal fired electrical plants 
which contribute the preponderance real man-made CO2, and that's still under 3% 
of total greenhouse gasses from all causes...and go back to clean nuk-U-ler 
power plants.  More CO2 is produced by cow flatulence than gasoline engines and 
perhaps the actors tobacco smoke (highest sector of smokers is entertainers.)  

But if you need to worry, the real life pending changes in Sun and planet 
alignment may just trigger the periodic and overdue N-S magnetic pole flip and 
knock out all electronics.  Dec 22, 2012 is almost here when the flip is 
likely. (that's not scientific but in the realm of the possible)  

But it takes an actor to talk about coastal waters rising 20 feet with a 
straight face.   

And while I'm at it...UFOs aren't aliens but long established and laboratory 
verified as plasma energy balls arising from the 'sloshing' of out molten 
magnetic core at earth mantle discontinuities.  The molten inner core revolves 
faster than the outer mantel.  Now, tonight shine a flashlight on the barn and 
watch the animals follow the lightening speed ball of light with their eyes  
... like humans get amazed when the see the lightening speed of the plasma ball 
which has no mass and is remotely directed by the magnetic field - not by 
aliens.  And some will try to shoot it...just as well shoot at the ball of 
light playing on the barn walls.   Ahhhh  science can be awesome when used 
honestly to promote understanding.
