I presently own a March build date US car #31495 (GTS).  It is injected and has 
the number code stamped 11A (I assume it is number 11 of the US production).  
It may be slower than some other 308 series, but it is a beautiful car, and I 
don't care what others think.

The US cars were fuel injected no later than March of 1980.  I used to own 308 
GTBi s/n 31605 and it had a March build date.  I've seen several carbed cars 
with higher serial numbers.
