Do you sign in when you search? Are you using Google subscribed links? Are you using personalized search? All these can affect your queries. If you really want to see how queries (and clicks on those queries) are finding your site, check out: http://www.google.com/webmasters/ Then click on Webmaster Tools (including sitemaps). Sign in, verify your server, then have fun with the data. I spend a good 30 minutes a day looking at this page for my sites. I know there are a bunch of Internet-savvy types here, you may be able to provide some insight into this little enigma. When I Google "surface mount prototypes" from my computer, my little tutorial (You, too, can do 0402) comes up as the #1 hit. When it's tried on other machines it comes up anywhere from #1 (about 30% of the time) to #5. I had expected that since it came up #1 for me it would come up #1 everywhere. Does anyone know how Google comes up with their search results? Why the results are in such seemingly random order? Thanks in advance, Bill _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/steve%40stevejenkins.co m Sponsored by BidNip.com eBay Auction Sniper
