Hey you CAN drive a Ferrari naked if you just specify flesh-colored upholstery! Considering the "reliability" of the a/c, the fleshy seat option is becoming quite popular here in the warmer climes where Capt. Romero and I reside.

Just for the record the penal colony was in Australia. NZ was originally part of New South Wales, but to my knowledge never served as a dumping ground for English felons. Australia was the reception area for the poor and downtrodden English underclass, criminals and others, just as California and Texas are today for the unwanted citizens of Mexico, Panama and parts south.

Oz got Vegemite, we got Tex-Mex comida deluxe, a helluva lot better deal imho.

I agree with cLyDe, a Ferrari is like your pee-pee. Use it, don't play with it.

Subject: [Ferrari] ...of Ferrari's and dresssing well....

Something odd has happened.... I have paid 87% of my first Ferrari... a 1978
308GTB I am yet to pick up.... but for the first time in my life (at age 38)
I am looking seriously at how I dress and present myself!

I think it's because I am getting a car to "live up to".... lol.
Funny thing is I have driven my Rolls Royce for 4 years and never given it a
second thought.

I have this theory...
Rolls Royce cars I associate with English excentrics... driving their cars
to market with their wellington boots on etc... so when I leap out of my
Rolls Royce in town in shorts, t-shrit and no shoes (it's warm here) I don't
feel out of place...

BUT, I think I defiantly WOULD feel out of place doing that in the
Ferrari... I think it's because I associate the Ferrari with Italian
style....
So a total image upgrade is on the cards... clothes for the Ferrari... lol

Sorry for the ramdom message, but I finding this a fasinating and totally
unexpected side effect of buying the car:))

Anyone else had any thoughts like this... or is it JUST me?
