Hey Steve - a few years ago our intrepid Los Angeles group did some sort of 
over night tour - ya know, with all types of Ferraris - headed up north. 
San Simion ?  Well, of course the hot group at the time were the three new 
F40's.  ZOW - off they go.

Well, heh heh, as things happen, they missed a turn off someplace in the 
rolling hills and nearly got to San Francisco (exaggeration) before they 
stopped and said - hey, we missed a turn off.  So they went to the nearest 
farm house for directions.  Imagine that - three of the then rarest 
Ferrari's looking like something from Flash Gordon pull up in the front of 
this farm house - farmer was dumbfounded.

Good for a chuckle.

He knew what they were - unlike my boss at the time when we pulled into an 
alley behind Bobileff Motor Car Co and there, in the garage sticking out, 
was the rear end of an F40 - OH Rich - look - - - What?  That Camero?  Alas, 
he did know what a Ford Bronco was.
