I can't remember the last time the NASCAR race I was watching didn't have either a caution or red flag in the last 10 laps. It's written in the script, just like the sun rises in the east every morning and the T-Birds will come from behind in the last jam to beat those nasty villains, the Bay Area Bombers. That reminds me of a funny story. We wanted the wrestling results in the early editions of the Herald-Examiner. The Sports Editor, Bud Furillo used to call the promoter in the afternoon to get the results before the matches were started, and the second paragraph of the wrestling article always started, "In other UNBELIEVABLE action.......
