I bought 2 fan motors for my 1981 308 GTSi. Last time I changed (I needed to check something) a fan motor, it took me 3 hours to do so. I have a.c., so the space is even more limited. I did it by taking the fan off the motor and then putting the fan back (sliding it between the a.c. rad and the car’s frame) onto the motor once the later was installed from the front. What took me so long was trying to put back that little “spacer” (I know it’s not the right name for it) or whatever it’s called, that holds the fan to the motor with basically my fingertips. Is there a better way to do it ? What if I decide to take the a.c. rad out (it’s useless anyway), would I have enough space to slide the whole kit together in place ? Thank you!
