That was fun, Bill. The wife and I are probably going to go to Eureka
Springs in June, maybe we'll be able to make it down your way or maybe you
could meet up with us and have dinner someplace, have heard the Crescent
Hotel is supposed to be pretty nice...I'll let you drive the SS Camaro,
bring your shitbox.

> Hey Doug: Right again, my friend. But it was closer to 70mph. I learned
this the day Tom Reynolds and I swapped GT4s for an afternoon tour of the
wine country of Baja Arizona, down around Elgin. There (IMHO) was no
difference in performance until Tom started to creep ahead of me about 70mph
in his 308 'Mario' although I was shifting @ 7.5K rpm. We traded cars and
the same thing happened. That extra litre sure pays off. On the bright side
though, in each car I was always faster in stopping and tasting the fine
wines of the region. Hell, Tom was just getting out of his car when I was
ordering my 2nd glass. No 'short dogs' in a paper sack around there. Damn -
how I miss L.A. and Skid Row.

308 then runs out of legs. Your car is quite agile and a joy to drive.
