Thank you so much Charles that is exactly what I meant. No I do not have a lift but would like to get one.

I will contact Overhead Door on Monday. Their website was so good I found one close to me in seconds:

*Overhead Door Company of Toronto
*5220 Bradco Blvd.
Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 3L3
Ph: 905-890-7777
Fax: 905-212-7781

Thanks again

Jason

Your post is confusing, Jason. Do you already have vertically opening
doors, but they don't go up to the top of the garage before turning
horizontal?

That's what I have and vendors told me it would be no problem to re-work
the tracking to take the doors all the way up to the ceiling when I
wanted a lift. Overhead Door Company quoted mine (they're a national
franchise). I didn't have to change the doors or anything - just the
track. Also certain electric openers won't work with really tall setups
like that, so check yours or buy ones that are ready.

I've been looking online without success

Is it possible to convert my garage doors open vertically up to the top
of the garage to facilitate a 4 post lift?
