You would not believe the comments I get when I take Blackhawk out in the
Silver Spur or the Corniche let alone Silver Cloud III. Folks, even Rolls Royce

Owners Club, can't understand "how I could let him in such an expensive car".
Hey, I worked for the money to pay for it, and besides, they let their kids
ride in their RR's so why shouldn't I let mine do the same.

I do have to say that the hearse has become the ideal car for his park
trips, though. And if he has to do a domestic, why not a Cadillac or a Lincoln
<g>? In any event, it has big rubber stall mats covering the casket table, and
it is nice and flat, no seats to have to hold on to en route, easy enough for
him to get in and out of with his ramp and I can leave his water bowl out for
him to drink out of on the road if he gets thirsty.

My first Mastiff was a female Apricot Fawn. I guess she is the reason why
I've never had another apricot one as it would just have too much to live up to

and it wouldn't be fair to him. Same reason why I only have males now, and I
never neuter them, I guess I can't figure out how you are "fixing" a dog by
breaking the parts he was created with, except for medical necessity. That was
1967 and I've had nothing but Mastiffs ever since. Blackhawk is my first
Brindle. The one I had before him was a Fawn and I just wasn't ready to have
another one that looked the same. In fact, it took me almost two years after he

passed on to even be able to be ready to have another Mastiff. Lots of really
fond memories of each of them and more stories about them than I could put
in a book the size of Black's Law Dictionary.

To be honest about it, if I could figure out a tactful way to get Audrey to
ride in the trunk of my Ferrari I'd pull the right seat out of it so Blackhawk
could ride in it. That is my only frustration with the Ferrari, and why I
may eventually buy a Mondial as well. I don't get to take many road trips in
the Ferrari because I won't ever even consider leaving him home on any travel
except when I am going to be in trial and I wouldn't really have the time to
pay proper attention to him.

But, my guess is that you are one of the few that understand how I am about
that.
