Phil:

I'm not sure how a side car would work on the 348 <vbg> but I am open to
suggestions.

I do have to admit that if I could find a realistic solution to taking
Blackhawk with us in the Ferrari I'd spend a lot more time in it. That is my
only
regret in choosing the 348 over the 328 Mondial. I may have to relent and get
a Mondial solely for that purpose, but of course that would not solve the
problem of being able to take the 348 on trips with me. If gasoline would get
back down to a reasonable price the alternative would be to get out more in
the motor home, a taking the 348 along on a trailer. Yes, I know that
submitting
to the extortionate price structure of the oil companies (please no
arguments about capitalism and the free market, most of us involved in
practices that
include, at least tangentially, business intelligence and operations know
that the world oil market is about as close to a free market as my Ferrari is
to a Prius) might be cheaper than the Mondial, but in three or four years, if
or when I get tired of this modality, the comparative residual value of a
Mondial vs. the comparative residual value of the gasoline that I have
consumed
must be considered.

[Who is beginning to think that the Rev. Pat Robertson might have been right
about Hugo Chavez, just suffering from a little tunnel vision in failing to
prescribe a similar remedy for all of the oil potentates who have
"nationalized" the mineral rights of the free world and who should be wondering
 who
would be next. And for good measure, perhaps a revision of the historical
definition of the crime of Treason to allow for the indictment and conviction
of
certain collaborators, can you spell Citgo, with the despot(s)]
