No mods apart from the 10:1 pistons and going from twin distributors to
single programmable electronic. Modern fuel allows higher compression and
they're cheaper and better design than originals. Win/win.

Google brings up their site and a lot of other references to them with
people using these for high performance applications.

Are you changing cams as well, etc, etc.? It's like the spider ate the fly
and the frog ate the spider and so on...
