One of the race announcers mentions at the Canadian race that Ferrari lost the main drive belt at their wind tunnel. That said, I can't imagine tunnel tweaking for each race has kept Ferrari ahead of McClaren. Rather, I believe their half billion dollar research facility has developed a chassis which can take the pounding of curbs and immediately regain traction when the tire becomes earth bound. Maintaining stability into the curbs and coming out of a bounce can mean several tenths and IMHO more important than another winglet. >An interesting story... >One reason why Ferrari may have lost its edge >http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns19298.html > >If true, must have been a spectacular sight as parts flew around the tunnel!
