Re: Ferrari's & Porsches to be banned in Europe soon

Hi Rick,
I seem to recall flourescent tubes containing Mercury - I worked at a shipyard building Nuke aircraft carriers and subs - whenever a f.tube was broken and the contents spilled, a hazmat team arrived to clean it up - because of potential damage to the nukes -

That aside - because the greenies don't care for nuclear power (the only realistic solution) and diesel for that matter - the mercury in all those f-tubes would be an incredible hazard if they start getting broken and scattered all over - throw a light bulb in the trash, and no big deal, throw a tube filled with Mercury in the trash and there's a potential problem.

Capitalism will find a solution if allowed to proceed -

Bye, ya'll

...and how about the push to use fluorescent lights because they're energy efficient?! Never mind the heavy minerals used within. Once that point reaches the masses the party line will be, "Ban fluorescent lights from our landfills and children's drinking water!" Next thing you know it will be FLUORIDATION, the most monstrously conceived Commie plot!!!

My liberal neighbors did not want to talk about that
