Well, the local Sheriff tagged us renegade lawbreakers on our way back from Cheyenne Frontier days for 60 in a 45 on a feeder street here in Ft. Fun. The Sheriff's cruiser was coming at me from about 100 yards when I noticed him pull over, turn around and flip on the lights. I looked down and was going maybe 50 - 51, with my V1 fully powered. The V1 never went off, even when he was pulled behind me writing the ticket. I asked him how he new I was doing 60 and he said "I've got radar". Then I said I have a radar detector and it never went off, and he seemed flustered. Then I asked him what band and he said "K band". All this seems highly suspicious, and perhaps I am a victim of "increasing revenue syndrom", or perhaps my V1 just unexpectedly crapped out. I plan on sending it to the factory for test/calibration to ensure it is working, and I wonder if any of you have had similar experiences with a non-functional V1 (or overly zealous fundraising police)? Thanks, Mark Lueker 308 SYSTEMS Inc. 970-282-7006 www.308systems.com
