And if (as in my case), it turns out you don't go for overnight excursions in 
the car, you also don'ta need luggage.  For a variety of reasons -- mostly 
available time -- the only occasions on which I have gone somewhere overnight 
the last few years I have either travelled by air, gone to track events (where 
I've tracked a different car -- sorry), or visited New York Ciry (where I think 
it's crazy to take the car.  So the luggage remains, waiting, in the closet.  
Sure, I probably need to get more of a life and drive off for at least a 
weekend locally.
