So, apparently Alonso is testing the car rather than with the rest of the
team at the hearing, and there's a lot of speculation as to why he's not
with the team.  I think the answer is pretty simple: he realizes this will
probably be his last chance to drive a McLaren until about 2009 and he's
trying to get some laps in while he still can.  Just my $.02, YMMV.
