1. Thanks - I thought so, too - as you can tell from my laugh track.

2. Yeah - I wasn't in a position to haggle, but I paid for it with my black
amex (and got the points), and as it turns out, it was worth every penny.

3. I actually made a mistake here. In my rush (I only had a few seconds to
slip it into my brother's backpack) I put it in the wrong compartment, and
not on the laptop as I had planned. It was sheer luck that he decided to
pull his iPod from his backpack, which happened to be in the same
compartment as what he now refer to as "Big Ben."

4. The dude in front of me in the line was laughing his butt off, too. I
wish I had a wider shot - all the security lines stopped and looked at my
bro when the TSA guy said "Settle down sir" really loudly.

5. I'm surprised, too. But the TSA guy couldn't have been more perfect. He
immediately knew what was going down, and played along perfectly.

1. Very funny!

2. $34? I'm amazed. First, I never spend more than $15 for my giant
purple ding dongs, and two, I can't believe fellow thriftmeister SteveJ
would outlay that kind of cash!

3. Who takes out all the electronics, aside from the laptop?

4. The guy behind you in line did not look happy (at least until he figure
out the joke).

5. I'm surprised that the TSA folks didn't tase you for videotaping a
"security control area", particularly your shot of the x-ray screen. You
must be a terrorist.

vty,

I wish we had time to stay the extra week and watch the Fuji race, but we
didn't.

I just got back from the Tokyo Game Show, and we had a blast. Here's how the
trip started at the SEA airport, tho:

P.S. (I'm taking the video, the guy with the backpack is my brother Harlyn,
and appearing on the left of your screen is ListMeister Steve Cook).
