I have been trying to think of a nice way to address the nanny suggestion. We have been so very lucky in that department as I think we have the finest nanny in the world. She is really a big part of our family. Now for the part that I have had difficulty with..... Jim, I don't think you would want to be strapped to her for three reasons at least. I could be wrong but I really don't think so.
1. She is married and has a wonderful husband and two children.(No major issue here other than the husband perhaps.)
2. Jim, do you speak Portuguese? Her English is rather limited but I can tell you babies cry in the language of the world.
3. Strapping her on is out and out not going to happen. That would definitely shatter the glass, bend the engine cover etc...You see she is a rather portly woman. 250-300.
We love her...although the humorous responses made me laugh.
P.S. Don't tell Melissa I laughed..

Nah, I'm happy with the '96 Camaro Z28 SS (SLP). Mebbe you should consider
another German car, Willi. You still have the Kubelwagen?
:)
Best,

Hey Dan: Before you part with your 944, I suggest that you talk with our
fellow Lister Tom Reynolds. He hasn't been the same happy-go-lucky guy after
selling his beloved 'Mario.' Of course Mario was a Ferrari, not one of
those?annoying?mass-produced P-Bugs. (let the flames begin.)

Hi folks! For about 4 years now I have been driving for a daily driver a
very
clean 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet. The taboo is that I fell in love with
the
car. Being in the business I NEVER am supposed to allow that to happen.
Well,
since the birth of my son about 16 months ago new concerns have propped
themselves on the horizon. Things like rear seat room, accident safety,
luggage
space etc... Seems like the top down, wind in the hair, buzzing exhaust
note and
shiny red paint have been relegated to only weekends anymore. Melissa and
I used
to take drives on Sunday mornings down A1A/Ocean Drive but again since the
new
addition, this has ceased to be a reality. After long and hard thought and
much
gnashing of the teeth I finally forced myself to trade her (the car not
Melissa)
in yesterday. Yet, I think I found the solution to rectify some of the
reasons I
loved the Porsche so much. I decided to buy an MB CLK Cabriolet. Four (and
I use
this term loosely) "usable" seats, convertible top, larger V8 engine and
much
nicer amenities. Strangely enough, when I looked out in the drive this
morning I
didn't miss the Porsche so much after all. This is something I never
thought
would happen since I keep my cars for long periods of time. Am I just
getting
old? Does the buying process really bring this much emotional havoc for
any of
you guys too? I do this every day in business but for crying out loud when
it's
on a personal level it just about drove me crazy. Sorry if this seems
frivolous
but I didn't sleep worth a darn for almost a week trying to build up the
intestinal fortitude to let the Porsche go.
