Bark is a very accurate and descriptive term especially since it is followed by a snarl that rapidly becomes a high pitched scream. Damn...I'll be back in about an hour...Melissaaaaaaaaaaaaa, watch the baby...I'm going to ummmmmmmm Starbucks for a Frapaccino. Yeah, that's it.

Stock 599's and 430s sound really nice with the stock exhaust. The 430 in
particular has a very sharp "bark" when the throttle is mashed. :)

This would be the differences between:
A- Factory exhausts and aftermarket Tubi Style, Capristo, Koenig etc...
or
B- V-8's revving higher than V-12's to achieve the same torque/HP..Granted
430's have more bottom end than any Ferrari V-8 by far but if you ever drove

a 550 or 575 the power is just there without putting your whole foot into
it.

Someone in my neighborhood has a black 599 GTB and there is absolutely no
missing of the sound, it is glorious!

Someone on my street has one. When I catch a glimpse it seems too
quiet. Often I only notice that it is a Ferrari because I check out ALL
red cars. Now the 360 Spider around the corner and another 430 here I
never miss. They both know how to keep the revs up nicely. And for
sure every time the yellow Lambo goes by I absolutely cannot help but
notice.

For some reason the 599 is sneaky. I don't know why.

What is the list chatter on this car? Anyone here own one?

The 550/575 Maranello was a great comeback to the front engined
theme...wonderful value.

While the 599 might be a bit interesting looking, two things gives it the
advantage:

Sick Interior
Unbelievable performance

Now if someone can figure out how to get that 6.0 V12 into the 575, u've
got
a winner...
