You're right. I was in Gurney's shop a while ago (on business) and it's a shrine! Every square inch is covered in memorabilia. You can feel it when you walk in the door. The trophies ... the photos ... the cars!

In my office I have a large, personally signed photo of him driving his F1
Eagle-Weslake. One of the most beautiful race cars ever made.

Subject: [Ferrari] It Finally Came Today!

The book, 'DAN GURNEY'S EAGLE RACING CARS' that my daughter ordered for my
Fathers Day gift finally showed up today. Doug and I used to haunt?Dan's
racing shops in Santa Ana, CA. and we saw him race his Eagles both at
Riverside and Ontario Raceways numerous times. The book is?accurate and
complete with detailed color pictures of all his cars. . It reinforces my
belief that the 1967 F1 Eagle with the 12-cylinder Gurney-Westlake motor is
the most sensuous and beautiful single seat race car?ever built. I recommend
it to all?Listers.?
