Changing the water pump on a 308 is one if the easier jobs -:)

It's been awhile do this is kind of vague. Jack the car up, remove the right rear wheel and fender liner.

You'll be looking pretty much right at the water pump. Remove the belt, and as I recall there 4 or 5 bolts that hold the pump to the engine, remove these bolts. You will also have to remove the two hose clamps behind the pump and work the hoses off.

As I recall, some of the bolts hold the pump together and some hold the pump to the engine. I can't recall how many of which there are, but it should be pretty clear.

Toy may want to drain the cooling system before you begin, and be sure to bleed the cooling system properly when you refill it.

HTH,

Jeff

Last week I told you I needed a new one. Before I go to the dealership,
who by the way is asking $1209., and evansauto is asking $400., somebody
told me this would be an easy job ????????

Has anybody done it himself ? If so how do you do it ?
I can change the oil, plugs, brake pads, prestone, brake liquid,
radiator fan motor, stuff like that. But Iâve never tried anything t hat
important.

Thank you!
