It may be lame, but you don't fall asleep watching it. FWIW my son works as an analyst for NC4 - kinda like 24 without the guns. They had their CA headquarters modeled after the 24 set.

Yes, I was told 24 is good. The Unit was promising but again the "real" factor isn't there, they (the guys and their families) just don't act military "real world" ....and they have all that incestuous stuff going on that is disgusting and too soap opera.

However, there is another unrelated film called The Unit (by Vivid) and it is a complete different story line...quite enjoyable if you have the right company... ;)

Oh yeah!! completely forgot - Very addictive! I'm looking forward to the
new season to start in Jan.

I find "The Unit" very similar - but 24 has non-stop action much of the
time. Not always believable but possible I guess ;-)

Stewart,

How could I forget the most addicting series on television????

*24*

Start with season 1, and work your way up to 6.

If you do 4 episodes a night, you can knock out a season in about a week.

Sounds crazy to watch 4 in one night until you find yourself doing just
that!

Hi guys I am about to go off for a 4-week+ assignment and I want to bring
along some "television" DVDs to keep me entertained. I am somewhat out
of
touch with all the latest and greatest other than "The Office" that I

and tivoed. Any recommendations on some other "TV series" that are
engaging? Maybe something in HBO (I do not have HBO now but I can get
DVDs
from Netflix)? I also heard that some CSI are pretty good, but there so
many CSI now which ones are the best?

What are some of your favorite shows? (...and don't say Pimp My Ride...)

Thanks,
Stewart
