There are those who would like to believe that. And it may even be true,
depending on how *well-tuned* the software is.

But don't kid yourself.

Even a Schumacher or Hakkinen will never be as good as properly-tuned
systems.

If they truly were, then the FIA would never have had to ban ABS, traction
control, etc. etc.

And as good as a driver may be, with only two feet (and two hands), he or
she simply cannot control the rate of brake application to EACH WHEEL
individually, nor apply more power to just one rear wheel.

Face it - much like modern jets, both passenger and military, it's all about
the computers.

As for the 430 Scuderia specifically, ain't no one got their hands on one
yet with a racetrack and an F1 driver to actually tell. But I'd wager that
it's faster in race mode.

Curious:

Can an F1/rally/etc. driver outperform the "Race" mode in a 430 Scuderia,
Enzo, etc.?

They say it's the fastest way around the track for a normal driver, but was
wondering if even the best are subject to it as well.

Part of me is hoping that a Mika Hakkinen can lap a track with it .09
seconds faster with pure skill...

:)
