Ferrari Mailing List: well that was fun!!!!

When I bought my 1978 Ferrari  308GTB earlyer this year a good friend lend me a 
small sum of money to finish paying for the car.  In her words to "shut me up 
talking about it and just go and get the bloody thing!"
   
  Well she got her money back ages ago and a Ferrari key ring.... but today she 
got the other promised thing...
   
  I took her out for a short drive to warm the car up fully... then we went to 
a deserted street and she got to drive the car about 2 miles, including a nice 
corner... only first and second gear but at least she can now say she has not 
ONLY part owned a Ferrari but driven one as well!
   
  Not bad for a 23 year old woman:)
  Can you imagine the looks on the faces of guys she tells about that?!?
  It's going to be classic.
   
  Her comments on the car were... "it's really easy to drive and she can see it 
would be very adictive"
   
  Yup that was fun:)
