Hi Bubba, While I admire Sir Frank's humble beginnings buying and selling F1 parts along pitlane to slowly build a team from nothing, I guess I will always shake my head in disbelief when he fired Damon Hill after he clinched the F1 Drivers Championship - some say even before. But <<poor old cripple>> LOL! That's like calling Frank & Jesse James disgruntled bank customers! ;-) BTW, finally watched most of the movie "Cars" thru On Demand and really liked the Ferrari fan character! Great personality and accent. ;-) Have a nice week - Larry T (67 MGB, 74 911, 78 240D, 91 300D) www.youroil.net for Oil Analysis and Weber Parts Test Results http://members.rennlist.com/oil PORSCHE POSTERS! youroil.net Weber Carb Info http://members.rennlist.com/webercarbs . ----- Original Message ----- From: red5hilser [at] aol.com To: l02turner [at] comcast.net ; Ferrari [at] Ferrarilist.com Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2007 4:52 PM Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Little F1 Talk? Hey Larry: Ethics in F1? Don't make me laugh! I'm shocked and saddened to see you pick on a poor old cripple in a wheelchair when ethics wise, he's no better or worse than most, if not all of the other teams. Whatever his shortcomings may be, he started out as a one car privateer on a shoestring with Piers Courage as his driver. When Courage was killed, he had to start all over again. My Kudos to (Sir) Frank. And speaking of ethics (ego?) Remember the time in March, 1957 when Maserati broke Ferrari's unoficial lap record at Modena and Enzo, in a fit, called Eugenio Castellotti back from holiday to defend Ferrari's honor by regaining the record. The cost? Castellotti's life. Yer Tifosi pal, Bubba -----Original Message----- From: LarryT l02turner [at] comcast.net Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Little F1 Talk? Hi Rui, I'm not one of alonso's fan's either. Given his ethics I thought he might end up with Frank Williams - they seem to have a lot in common ethics-wise.
