Hey Tom: 8th grade in '61? OMG, if y'all can't remember things now ... just 
wait another 10 years. At my age,?I ?wear a dog-tag to remind me who I am, my 
address and phone number. In the fall of 1960, I had already dropped out of 
college to play beach vollyball and chase grass skirt in Hawaii. <G>

Or whatever the title of the post was.  I found it.  If it would have been a 
snake, I'd be dead right now...2 shelves away from me, about 36" to the right.  
Book is "Road Race" by Philip Harkins, published by him in 1951 and by 
Scholastic Book Services 1961.  Ah, now to read, if I could only find the copy 
of "The Red Car" that I had.  Oh, I was in 8th grade, so it would have been 
fall 
of '60 or Jan or later of '61.  1961, that is.
