It depends on how critical you are of authenticity on the reproduction 16"
QV wheels.  The originals were made of magnesium, the repros are made of
aluminum and surprisingly heavier.  Also, on the oem wheels, the design of
the outer rim is different between the front and rear wheels.  The repro
rears look like the fronts.  Also, there have been some issues with the
repros not fitting the hubs tightly, causing balance issues.  Apparently the
sellers will offer some sort of hub centering ring that corrects this issue
if you ask.

All minor details, that can be worked out, and the repros do cost about half
what a excellent condition set of oem 16" QV wheels would cost.

I know people who have some cromodoro 14 x 7.5
You can also buy non genuine (but original looking) 16" wheels as well.
If you get the car, we'll talk.

Hi all
I have been a lurker on the list for some time ...I once owned a series 2
308 GT4 and always wanted a GTS...
RHD ones in Australia can be expensive so I have been looking for a left
hooker to import...
I think I have now found one...fingers crossed it is ok !!!
anyhow..it was a silver one on ebay but has BBS mag wheels....would anyone
have a set of original wheels for sale just in case the deal goes ahead I
can get them on the car before it is shipped....you would be welcome to the
BBS wheels...
