My RR is called "The Royce"... as he was the engineer, not Rolls who was just un upper-class playboy...
and my GTB seems to have taken on the name "The Red car" which sounds a lot less pretentious in public:)

In the Rolls club, I know a lot of folks who actually name their cars.
These cars often have more interesting pedigrees than an 80s Ferrari,
for instance they are coachbuilt cars built precisely to order due to
the whims of some weird rich guy. Some people name their cars after
the original owner. My car (a Phantom-III) is named "The Vantom"
because that's what my kids called it when they were younger, I mean
it's a limo, but to them it's like a big van (we have taken the family
camping with it multiple times), so when they hear 'Phantom' they must
have thought we were calling it 'Vantom,' so therefore that's its
name!

In these notes, the '81 GTSi is repeatedly referred to
as 'she'. I have never done this, not to say that
doing so is wrong, but is this typical? Do you guys
anthropomorphize your cars as well?
