Ferrari Mailing List: Ferrari Color (original)

My '78 308GTS was red when I bought it.  Obviously repainted at one time, but I 
haven't seen any evidence it was ever any other color.  Looking for the manuals 
Dennis alluded to, I signed onto the Ferrari Owners site.  Curious, I clicked 
on the 'My Garage', and it dutifully showed my car, and the date I bought it.

Strange, though.  It listed the color of the car as Grigio Ferro 106-E-8, which 
translates to 'Iron Grey'.  So either my mistress is not what she appears, or 
the site has the wrong color, or I screwed up when I gave them the vin, or 
maybe Hillary will actually be nominated....

I love her anyway (the Ferrari, that is), but....it is funny.
