Denis, I've been a lister for 3 years, own an 85'TR, rarely post, and have, like you, complained about the level of non-Ferrari content. Your posts have always brought a level of reality with them, as well as humor, as in your reference to the title of Doug Adams' fourth book in his "Hitchhiker" trilogy. I read your Augsburg confessions, but still don't have a clue, so here is my suggestion. Take a speed reading course, get a prescription for Prozac, stay on the list....and lighten up....... Same 95% bull s#!t content. But the remaining 5% is enough to keep me now in lurker-mode (until I get sucker-punched into writing something stupid). FWIW, I joined this outfit in the fall of 1996 and bought my 308GTB in January of 1997. I wasn't first but I was early on in the queue. Steve, do you have any info like that? A record of who joined in what order perhaps? It would be cool to know one's sequential member number. :-) May I recommend that you guys do as Steve Cook suggests; set up a filtered folder and dump all the List stuff into there. That way, if you don't want to read through guns, cigars, politics and cat abuse, you can easily avoid doing so. Who knows, someone might just post something about the (hopefully) upcoming 308 event in Memphis! I am doing it my self and need some help. I have a water pump, solenoid and hobbs switch. I am using a four pole relay. I have connected the positive side of the pump and solenoid to pole #87 and the negative side to pole #85. Poles #86 and #30 are both connected to the battery. Where do I place the hobbs pressure switch so that when I reach a certain boost, everything comes on? I can get the pump and solenoid to work when I apply positive current to #30 and #86 but it seems that no matter where I place the hobbs switch, either nothing works or it works without the hobbs switch applying the vacum when the boost comes on. I don't want it running all the time, just when I reach a certain boost (4 lbs). Thanks. Jim James V.
