As usual, I'm watching a lot of Speed TV's coverage of the auction at Barrett - Jackson / Scottsdale. So I Googled It (TM B.H.D., all rights reserved) and there are only 3 Ferraris on offer (well, 2 Ferraris and a pasta machine): - The Monster Garage "Pasta Ferrari" 308 GTSi pasta machine that sold yesterday for $18,500; - A sharp-looking red / tan 1988 328 GTS; and - A nearly new-in-box 2003 456 GT, 6-speed (!), Grigio. Even though the B-J is focused on American muscle now, I'd expect that they'd want more Ferraris just to draw a more diverse crowd. I swear, on my HDTV, I can almost smell the cologne on some of those bidders at B-J. The unrelated but held at the same time RM Auction has a few more, including (all red): - A gorgeous 1966 275 GTB / 6C; - A 1971 Daytona Spider conversion; - A 1972 Daytona coupe, no reserve; - A 1977 (steel) 308 GTB, 1 owner, 1900 (!) miles, no reserve. Anybody on the list attending either of these auctions? I've never been, but I've thought about going just because it's a car guy kind of thing to do.
