I agree about the cromodoras... what about the dayton wire wheels. I've seen 
several on older vintage ferraris. Look just like Borranis

The rear will come off easily. I have a feeling I'll end up leaving the fronts 
on due to the mounting bosses underneath being rather large (and the future use 
of the turn signals).

I find the Cromodora mags inappropriate for the body on this car. I will look 
into a "competizione" model Borrani that is an inch wider to fill the 
wheelwells a bit better.

As far as the purists...if anything, the bumper-less look is more pure. The 
bumpers were a practical necessity as were side view mirrors and windshield 
wipers. No designer would ever allow that mess on their car!!!

Very beautiful car and the Borranis will set it of well. But what do you do
with the lights built into the bumpers when you remove them? And what do the
"Purists" think of removing the bumpers? Just curious!
