What happened to JPM? Gone for good from F-1

He was great the first two years or so...then what happened?
He was doing crash test of carbon fiber for Ron Dennis with F-1 cars

I don't know why ppl have so much animosity against JPM....it's not like he
was a driver for Ferrari that undermined the team. He was just a driver on a
rival team...
