Hello Hans,
I am also a big believer in Techron - but there's a product made by
Lubri-Moly which is also very good. The name is Jectron Fuel Injection Cleaner
and it may take some detective work to find it but I think you'll
be happy with the results. They also have a product called "Diesel Purge"
which is super for Diesel engines.

   Good luck -

Chevron Techron is the "official" injector cleaner for many of the
auto manufacturers. GM won't warranty an injector unless this is
tried first. Often works.

My 81' 308 GTSi runs well, but, as a low mileage car, must have sat for a while. We drained and refilled the tank at the shop prior to purchase, but I thought that I should run some fuel injector cleaner through the system. I have always used Gumout. Is there any reason that this might be a bad idea? I always use Shell V-Power gasoline.
