Thx Hans,
Appreciate that info. I re-registered also. My biggest problem is all the porn email I get. Thankfully it's not graphic but even with the mis-spelled words it can be understood. Hmm I wonder wht there isn't some software that can do what our brains do in a very short time?
As far as phone calls in the afternoon and evening - we started watching out phone numbers on caller ID and if it's an 800 number we asnswer with "Hello?" and then do it one more time. If no one answers very shortly, we know it's some kind of company calling and we hang-up - only giving them 2 seconds to respond or so. We've gotten pretty good at it.

It's really slow on the list lately, so I'm throwing out an off topic:
I've been getting a lot of telemarketer calls lately. Last night was the last straw, as someone called at midnight.
A few years ago when they announced the "Do not call" program, I registered. It seemed to have helped. But no more.
The original program said your registeration would expire in 5 years, but according to their website, they have not actually deleted anybody.
But I checked my number, and sure enough, they no longer have me listed.
So, if you are being pestered, go to:
www.donotcall.gov
and re-register.
Hans. PS: Because of lackluster enforcement, Oregon has taken it upon themselves to enforce the list for Oregon phone numbers. Oregon previously did this and prosecuted about 200 violators. The Feds? They have only gone after 28 violators in the last 5 years. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/l02turner%40comcast.net
