Thx Hans,
   Appreciate that info.  I re-registered also.  My biggest problem is all 
the porn email I get. Thankfully it's not graphic but even with the 
mis-spelled words it can be understood.  Hmm I wonder wht there isn't some 
software that can do what our brains do in a very short time?

   One day I guess.

   As far as phone calls in the afternoon and evening  - we started 
watching out phone numbers on caller ID and if it's an 800 number we asnswer 
with "Hello?" and then do it one more time.  If no one answers very shortly, 
we  know it's some kind of company calling and we hang-up - only giving them 
2 seconds to respond or so.  We've gotten pretty good at it.

   And after 10pm we turn the ringer off on the MBR phone.
